Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring an Operating Foreman to lead a zero-turn mowing crew with speed, pride, and accountability. This is a working leadership role — you’ll be on the mower, setting the pace, while managing quality, safety, and crew performance.
If you take pride in clean stripes, tight edges, and finishing routes on time without excuses — this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Daily Operations
- Run a zero-turn mowing route efficiently and profitably
- Lead a 2–3 person crew with clear expectations and standards
- Ensure properties meet company quality specs every visit
- Load/unload equipment and maintain a clean, organized truck
Leadership & Accountability
- Set the tone for pace, professionalism, and safety
- Train crew members on mowing patterns, trimming, and blowing standards
- Hold crew accountable for attendance, performance, and attitude
- Communicate issues, delays, or site conditions to management
Equipment & Safety
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Identify and report mechanical issues before breakdowns
- Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
- Route completion on time, every day
- Zero preventable damage claims
- Consistent quality scores on inspections
- Crew retention and performance improvement
Requirements
- 2+ years commercial mowing experience (zero-turn required)
- Proven experience leading or training others
- Strong understanding of mowing patterns, trimming, and edging
- Valid driver’s license (chauffeur or DOT a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and coachable
- Spanish/English bilingual is a plus (not required)
